Chaka allen
Baritone Chaka Allen lives in Berwyn, PA, with his wife and youngest daughter (his older daughter is in college), and coaches privately with visiting teacher dramatic mezzo Dolora Zajick at the Curtis Institute of Music. Recent roles include Scarpia, Conte Di Luna and Germont. Originally a trumpet player, Chaka switched to voice, privately training voice and taking courses for many years in various parts of stage craft. Besides opera, Chaka enjoys tennis and online chess.
