José Heredia
José Heredia is a dynamic operatic tenor known for his powerful voice, commanding presence, and refined artistry. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, he trained with Metropolitan Opera legends Mignon Dunn, Dana Talley, and Mark Oswald. His versatile repertoire ranges from bel canto to contemporary works, with standout roles including Rodolfo (La Bohème), the Duke (Rigoletto), Don José (Carmen), and Canio (Pagliacci). He has performed across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and, most recently, Egypt, where he represented his native Dominican Republic in a sold-out concert at the Cairo National Opera House. Offstage, José is the founder of SUITable, a lifestyle and fashion blog empowering plus-size men to live with confidence and style. He lives in New York City and often performs with his wife, soprano Rachel Hippert.
