John Easterlin has rapidly established himself as one of international opera’s most exciting performers. A four-time Grammy Award recipient, with four listings in the Guinness Book of World Records, his international opera credits include multiple productions with the Metropolitan Opera; New York City Opera; Opéra National de Paris; Wiener Staatsoper; Royal Opera House Covent Garden; English National Opera; Teatro Real, Madrid; Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow; Canadian Opera Company, Toronto; New Israeli Opera, Tel Aviv; Beijing Opera, China; and the Sydney Opera House, Australia; in addition to the Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Seattle Opera, Washington National Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and Dallas Opera. Soloist with the Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and the American Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, he created the role of Andy Warhol in the world premiere of Philip Glass’ The Perfect American and Larry King in the U.S. premiere of Anthony Turnage’s Anna Nicole. A Master Puppeteer and Certified Magician, (member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians), his additional opera appearances include the Glimmerglass, Ravinia, Spoleto, Saito Kinen and Merida festivals. Recipient of the Olivier, Gramophone and Diapason D’Or L’Année awards, John made his Broadway debut as Ubaldo Piangi in The Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theatre.
Mr. Easterlin has appeared on the Boheme Opera NJ main stage as Goro (Madama Butterfly), as Count Almaviva (The Barber of Seville) and as a featured soloist in the company's 25th Reunion Concert.
Errin Duane Brooks is from Detroit, Michigan and is quickly gaining career momentum. In 2019, he made his Metropolitan Opera debut as Mingo in its acclaimed production of Porgy and Bess. Most recently, he appeared as the second Scottish Soldier in Kevin Puts' Silent Night and understudied Don José in Bizet’s Carmen, both with Michigan Opera Theatre. He has performed with other companies in the United States including South Shore Opera, Toledo Opera, Utah Festival Opera, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, among others. Past tenor roles include Bacchus in Ariadne auf Naxos with Chicago Opera Theater, covering Harlequin in Victor Ullman’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis and Messenger in William Grant Still’s Troubled Island, a Chicago premiere! His early success has given him heightened recognition with wins in multiple competitions, including the George London- Kirsten Flagstad Grand Prize Award for promising Wagnerian Singer, the Grand Prize in The Bel Canto Competition, and first place in the Michael Ballam Concorso Lirico Competition at the Utah Opera Festival. The latter competition sent him to the National Semi-Finals in Alessandria, Italy, where he was able to advance to the National Finals, place 4th, and win the Audience Favorite Award.
Mr. Brooks has appeared on the Boheme Opera NJ main stage as Canio (I Pagliacci).
Jeremy Brauner was a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition North East Region 2019, having received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Montclair State University where he had his first experience with opera. He began his opera career as a baritone starring in Rossini’s La scala di seta and La cambiale di matrimonio. After school, Jeremy continued his career as an apprentice artist with Sarasota Opera. He originated a new work with the International Brazilian Opera Company and performed the role of Belcore in L'elisir d'amore with Dicapo Opera, as well as originating the role of Prince Hjalmar in the world premiere of Princess Maleine produced by Dell’Arte Opera Ensemblé. In 2016, he transitioned from baritone to tenor, making his tenor debut as Alfredo La traviata with Dell’Arte Opera Ensemblé, where he later performed as The Schoolmaster in The Cunning Little Vixen. Later he worked with Amore Opera, starring as Fernando in the North American premiere of Donizetti’s La zingara and as Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca.
In 2019, Mr. Brauner performed the role of Ricardo in Un Ballo in Maschera in a concert presented by Boheme Opera New Jersey, where he will star as The Duke of Mantua in its upcoming production of Rigoletto.
Philadelphia-born pianist and teacher Sandra Milstein Pucciatti has appeared as a piano soloist, duo-pianist and featured performer with orchestras, chamber music ensembles and in master classes in the United States and Canada. Highlights of her career include New York’s American Landmark Festival, the Torrance Performing Arts Center in California and the Ignatieff Theatre in Toronto. She co-founded Boheme Opera NJ with her husband, Joseph Pucciatti, in 1989 and has been its Managing Director since 1997, performing with emerging artists of great potential in regional opera outreach concerts.
