Wayne hu
Baritone Wayne Hu is an alumnus of The College of New Jersey and Indiana University with degrees in vocal pedagogy and vocal performance, respectively. His career is a fluid hybridization across multiple genres, including concert appearances with LAPHIL and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and numerous leading roles with theatre companies throughout the country. Past engagements include Les Misérables (Enjorlas) with Amarillo Opera, Into the Woods (Cinderella's Prince/Wolf) with Ocean State Theatre, Disney's Beauty & the Beast (Gaston) with Theatre by the Sea and about a dozen productions of The King & I (Lun Tha/Title Role). On the operatic stage, Wayne was most recently seen as Scarpia in Tosca with Opera Vermont and New Rochelle Opera, and has previously performed roles on the mainstage with New York City Opera, Tulsa Opera and Opera Memphis, among others.
